    L'Hôpital's Rule on the Test

    in AP Calculus Forum

    Gaggle,

I'm writing this message to inform you of the expectations for your knowledge of L'Hôpitals Rule on the upcoming test. In class today, I believe I made a comment indicating that any questions requiring L'Hôpital's Rule on the test would initially be of the indeterminate form 0/0 or ∞/∞. Well, after some consideration, I've changed my mind. Here's the updated information:

There will be two questions involving the use of L'Hôpital's Rule:

    - one question will correspond to questions seen in the first lesson on L'Hôpital's Rule (indeterminate form of 0/0)

    - the other question will correspond to questions seen in the second lesson on L'Hôpital's Rule (the other indeterminate forms) and may require the use of logarithms

    - neither question will be worth many marks.

Sorry for the change, but I believe it's necessary to better represent the time we've dedicated to L'Hôpital's Rule. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD and let me know if you have any other questions. Have a great March Break!
